We were looking for a compact, quiet, two-stage vacuum pump to incorporate into our autoclave machines. We are a recognised leader in the production of morning rolls and bakery goods have employed Sterling Fluid Systems (UK) Limited to reduce their downtime and increase productivity at their Glasgow facility.
By using the part exchange programme we have been able to update obsolete technology with the most up to date design of pump available in the market. Due to the service offered by Sterling Fluid Systems we were able to dispatch a damaged unit direct to their workshop facility, engineers replaced the pump with a new unit on the existing bedplate, then returned it to site in order to commission the machine back in service.
As a consequence little interruption to our production was seen, and we now have a new pumpset that can be supported with confidence for many years to come.

We use a variety of pumping equipment on our site. Sterling Fluid Systems have provided us with reliable pumping solutions, whether it’s in supplying new products, or in providing us with a reliable pump repair service. An example of this, is the increased mean time between failure (MTBF) we are now experiencing on our gas pump. We were experiencing premature failure due to a seal problem. Sterling Fluid Systems identified the problem, changed the specification of the seal and since then our MTBF has significantly increased.
We have also used Sterling Fluid Systems for non-pumping service issues (laser alignment), again we have found them to be responsive and adaptable. They continue to provide an excellent service for us.
