Sterling Fluid Systems B.V. - Update

TBG and Sterling Management have decided to end the divestment process of the SIHI Process Pump Group. The business will be further developed, strategically and structurally, under the ownership of TBG.

Although there has been a strong interest in the business from a number of parties, due to the current turmoil in the financial markets it has not been possible to complete a transaction on acceptable terms and conditions.

The SIHI Process Pump business has performed positively during 2008 with year-to-date performance substantially ahead of last year and 2008 budget. Management will enter 2009 in a strong position for further growth and profitability. Shareholder and management have commenced planning for the three year business cycle to build a successful and sustainable future.
