The ‘Road Ahead’ for Sterling UK
Sterling Fluid Systems invested in a self-contained demonstration trailer, offering customers the chance to receive on-site training and product demonstrations. Since its launch it has been a big success as customers are able to experience first-hand the benefits of Sterling’s range of liquid and vacuum pumps, particularly their flagship model the SIHIdry.
The trailer is able to exhibit features such as enhancements in dry vacuum pump MTBF and some of the strongest centrifugal pumps available, by utilising cutaway display models, easily interchangeable display photographs and other promotional media. There is also a built in generator which enables working demonstrations of the Environmental/Energy Award winning SIHIdry running vacuum pump, so customers can experience direct training of the pump whilst it is in a fully operational condition.

After touring chemical and pharmaceutical sites in 2006 and 2007, many companies now acknowledge the SIHIdry as their best available technology while not exceeding an acceptable level of cost. So far in 2008 the road show trailer has toured manufacturing plants throughout England and Ireland, particularly sites within the general industries sector.
